Careful Love - Tim Williams (Dovecote Records, Oct. 20th)
8:20am - "I Hit Another Wall" The upbeat depression, the cheery tunes w/ somber thoughts of heads pounding into walls.
8:24am - "Ozone Street" Slightly electro funky waves of cure-esque guitar and angelic keys float over pulsing beats.
8:30am - "Oceans" I'd never give my heart to a bear.
8:34am - "All In" Electro-country... There is a tower of tears collapsing at the feet of this song.
8:41am - "Stilts" I've always been afraid of the circus, but I like the idea of escaping to stilts.
8:44am - "Love Hate" Tim is confused, but has filled this track with addictive loops.
8:48am - "Murderous Air" If I was a window I would stain glass, but not that colorful or designed type... I'd be yellowed and fading.
8:53am - "Right All Along" Confidence and a sense of overwhelming fear don't mix, but Tim pulls it off smoothly.
8:59am - "8x10" Gordon Gano would rule this track... Where are you Gordon?
9:04am - "I Want to Die in California" I've never been to Cali, but it doesn't sound like a bad place to die.
